Why Africa? Because this is the continent of mosts!
Africa is the birthplace of humanity, where animals and humans live together
for over 205 million years surrounded by the most beautiful scenery of the world.
Due to the fight for the natural resources, this peaceful paradise start to
disappear – the continent suffers from wars, illnesses and species disappear
from day to day. At the same we see the renewal. Africa is facing the biggest
challenge: how to live a better life in harmony with the nature?
Africa is the continent providing the highest diversity in the world: plateau,
now-capped peaks of Kilimanjaro, craters, deserts, canyons, rain forests, water
falls, lakes and the longest river in the world, the Nile, just to mention some
of the musts to see. The 104 ecoregion are home of unique animals and plants,
like succulents in Western Namibia, salt plants in the Sahara, or Itigi-Sumbu
bush-land. African Elephants, White and Black Rhinoceros, African Wild Dog, Cheetah,
Leopard, Orix – are just a few of the endangered African wildlife species.
Africa is the continent of the highest diversity of human culture. Tribe rituals
are unchanged from the ancient times, the pyramids and the temples and tombs Giza,
Karnak are signs of the antique world, hand carved stone churches of Lalibela date
back to the early medieval centuries, and the skyscrapers of Nairobi are really XXI
century creatures.
Being aware of what is on risk, this continent needs more attention: dangers and also
several results and successes of Africa.
